Will
love be lovelier the second time around?
It could be, but the stars are stacked against you if you marry
on the dark of the moon just hours before an eclipse - with Venus
square Saturn.
Though the British Press criticized the late Princess Diana's love
of consulting the planets, Charles and Camilla probably should have
before selecting April 8th as their wedding date.
Though their individual charts say the timing may be right, and
the synastry between them is just fine, the horoscope for the long
awaited wedding between Prince Charles and Camilla on April 8th
is slightly short of a nightmare.
Prince Charles born on November 1, 1948 is a Scorpio with the Moon
in Taurus. Camilla Parker-Bowles born on July 17, 1947 is a double
Cancer (Diana was Cancerian too). Both have regal Leo rising. Though
their relationship has lasted over 30 years, the heavenly activity
on their announced wedding day is making many astrologers wince.
The harsh 90° aspect (a square) between Venus and Saturn is
famous for 3rd party problems in any relationship.
Also of concern is the tight square between the Sun and Saturn,
indicating a limited 'vitality' or life force in the chart, particularly
with Prince Charles, whose face is so pained and strained even at
what should be a joyous occasion.
Vanity Fair astrologer Michael Lutin said, "Mazel Tov" to the couple,
"but if it were me, I'd never marry anyone I'd been sleeping with
while they were married, but that's just my take. I've heard The
Queen's delighted but I just laughed, she's sick about her kids'
antics like any mom."
Across the pond, Debbie Frank, astrologer to the late Princess Diana
who writes for the Daily Mirror in London thinks that the focus
is more on their individual charts than on the wedding itself. She
wished the couple well and added, "I don't think the strong Saturn
is necessarily a bad thing. Saturn rules formality and Camilla is
not marrying him (Prince Charles), she's marrying an institution."
And in the "short term at least, it's a joyful culmination of a
long relationship." Debbie declined to comment on how Diana might
take the wedding sighting client confidentiality, but one could
imaging the pain this would have caused her.
Sources say she never stopped loving Charles. Will her ghost make
an appearanceand energy be at play on the wedding day?
Astrologer Liane Thomas Wade said, "I hate being negative but this
chart suggests that the couple will continue to suffer from adverse
public opinion."
And though we all wish the couple well, if a client approached me
with the April 8 date in mind for a wedding, I would not recommend
it.
Besides, when all is said and done, with Prince Charles' elevated
Moon at 0 Taurus (right on Elizabeth's sun), his heart belongs to
Mummy.
